Beginning his creative career in the mid-90s as a designer of household products, Nicholas Fischer has since worn many hats as a designer for all manner of media including film, broadcast tv, print and web. As a creative partner in the pioneering motion graphics studio PanOptic, Nicholas lent an eye-grabbing and inventive visual approach to established brands and artists including RCA Records, SciFi Channel, Steven Sprouse, the WuTang Clan, Sisqo, Reebok, PepsiCo, Ryan McGuiness, and LOTek.

As a freelance designer and animator for the past 7 years he has been involved in projects as diverse as product designs for Nambe, cartoon segues for German comedian Michael Mittermeier, comic segues for Liz Canner’s doc Orgasm Inc, special effects for Bjork’s music video “Wanderlust”, not to mention a broad palette of corporate work for brands such as Nikon, ColeHaan, and Nike. He is currently in production on a narrative music video for indie-label band Aeroplane Pageant, which he expects will lead to specialization in the sub-discipline of 3d animation known as “previz”.
